Each year, we design and print hundreds of orders for individuals, teams and clubs and print over sixty thousand cards a year. You could say we know a thing or two about making trading cards!
When we receive an order, we carefully chose or create a design, that is tailored to suit the sport and the photos you provide, their quality and the composition of the players in them.
For example, ball sports where the ball is at the feet, will normally have more height available on the card for a full length photos, so you can see the players head and feet. This is common with Soccer, Cricket and Aussie Rules. Artwork for these designs is usually on one side of the card only.
Other sports where the ball (or bat in some cases) is in the hands, we prefer to zoom in on the top half of the player and use their image from the waste up. This makes the image wider too and fills more of the card space horizontally. Artwork for these cards is normally below the photo.
As part of of our design process, we provide a sample card design to you, after your order is placed and the photos are uploaded. We work with you to create a design your player/s will love.
What are our cards like?
Our cards are the real deal, they are a quality product, equivalent to an AFL/NRL/Basketball cards in every way. 350gsm thick card stock, a gloss celloglaze finish front and back and they are the same size as a standard trading, 63mm x 88mm.
